How Does Bidding Work?

Once we find a home that you love, we would need to put together a Bid Form. When you have filled in your official bid form, we will send it to the owner together, with all your details. On this form you enter your personal details and thereby the wishes of the bid you want to make on a rental property.

  • If the owner accepts your bid, this is binding.
  • Income information is always required, to see the official documents click here. 
  • You can send your income details by mail to office@therentalshop.nl
  • Your personal details are and remain private.
  • The Rental Shop checks the bid form, possibly together with you.
  • After we have received your legitimation we submit your offer to the owner.
  • You will be informed immediately by the owner of the agreement, even if you prefer another tenant.
  • After approval, the HOV (Rental Agreement) is drawn up, see link documents and contracts for private rental.
  • If the contract has been signed by both parties, you must pay the deposit, rent and if necessary. transfer brokerage costs to The Rental Shop. You will receive a specified invoice from which the account details of us are also included.
  • A date is set to schedule the pre-inspection and key transfer.
  • At the time of inspection, the condition of the home is digitally documented, the meter readings recorded and the gas, light, water and internet + TV transferred to your name.
  • Rent and deposit is transferred to the owner.
